MLM Sponsoring-How Do I Stop the Revolving Door On My MLM Business?
I will be 100% honest with you, this video will make the most sense to those who are taking definite and consistent to build their mlm business right now. Don’t get me wrong, there are concepts in here that apply to those in any stage of building a giant mlm team, so I do recommend it for newbies and veterans alike.
HOWEVER, since it does deal with the topic of mlm sponsoring, those who are in the action phase of their business will most readily be able to apply what I’m talking about in this video. Hopefully, it will help clear up some of the cobwebs in your mind about why people join your team, and 30 days later they are leaving your team.
One of the topics that I don’t discuss in the video can also be a large contributor to the revolving door epidemic, and that is simply sponsoring the wrong people into your business. Now I know that most people will tell you that you “can’t pre-judge anyone,” that “anyone can do this business.” And I agree with that 100%. But…
That doesn’t mean that you should not have a prequalification process in place, so that you know what you’re working with. Does this mean you shouldn’t sponsor the cashier from the local McDonald’s because he only makes $5.75 an hour? Of course not! But it does mean that you will have to be more creative in helping him to market, that he will have more initial challenges maintaining his monthly autoship, and that he may need additional personal development if he sees himself as ONLY a McDonald’s cashier.
See, it’s not a matter of exclusion, it’s a matter of assessment. I’m assuming that you got in business to do certain things for yourself, your family, and the community around you, right? You have certain goals to achieve, and a certain time frame you want to achieve them in, don’t you? Well, be honest with yourself about the level of person that you’re sponsoring, and how their projected time frames for building a business mesh with your projected time frames for building a business. If they aren’t the same, then you need to reassess your mlm sponsoring targets. But don’t fake yourself out into thinking that just because you have people in place, they are the right people to run with right now.
More importantly, STOP putting pressure on people who aren’t ready to run right now. There’s nothing that irritates me more than someone who sits on a new rep and waits for them to hatch into a top producer. Go become a top producer yourself, and then build a team of top producers that they want to become a part of, and let them grow at their own pace!
Sorry, got off on a rant there for a second, here’s the video, LOL!!

This is great advice, Jamie.
Everybody who has tried to build an organization has had difficulty trying to get Quality prospects, down-lines and followers.
We usually blame THEM.
You make it clear not only that we must shoulder the responsibility for truly sponsoring, ie., mentoring, our recruits to duplicating our success. And you give great suggestions for making that happen.
Keep this good stuff rollin’ in, Jamie! I love it.
Thanks for the comment David!
I’ve done it myself, as I kicked rocks down the street, “If that guy would’ve only…”
Maybe he would, and maybe he wouldn’t, but 9 times out of 10, I had no idea what was going on in that guy’s head to try and help him overcome it, if possible.
Thanks for stopping by!
