The beachbody scam is what you want to learn about right?  Sorry to disappoint you, but the only information I have available is about the legitimate home business opportunity offered by Team Beachbody.  To be honest with you, when I hear the word scam used to describe network marketing companies, I kinda chuckle.  Not because there aren’t scam companies in this industry, because there certainly are.  What makes me laugh is that so many people, without the benefit of any real factual information to go on, assume that every network marketing company is a scam or pyramid deal.

I could certainly provide you with factual proof of my own to show that the beachbody scam is anything but a scam, but I’d rather send you to one of the absolute best articles I’ve ever read on the subject of MLM right here. If you want information on a real pyramid scam, just look at your next paycheck, and take a peek at what the Social Security Administration is up to…sorry, about to start ranting, I will keep this post focused.

Quite honestly, some people are just skeptical, and think that everything’s a scam.  There’s no convincing them that there is no beachbody scam, and it’s not my intent here to change their mind.  This blog post is for the person who has some questions, and is open to looking at multiple angles of the picture to get a better understanding of what something is about.

If There’s No Beachbody Scam, What Are We Left With?

So we’ve eliminated the team beachbody scam myth, or at least sent those who believe in one off to bed to wait for Santa Claus and the Great Pumpkin to appear.  Now what?  Well, since you made it this far, and you’re clearly not the type of person to believe every urban legend that comes your way, let’s talk about what Beachbody actually is.  No hype, no pitch, just facts.

Team Beachbody is the network marketing arm of Beachbody, a company created by Carl Daikeler and Jon Congdon in 1998.  After considerable, documented success direct selling such programs as Power 90, P90X, Hip Hop Abs and Turbo Jam, Carl and Jon realized two things.  The first was that they had way more customers on their hands than they knew what to do with.  That’s a good problem to have, right?

The second was that those customers supported and encouraged each other to live healthier, work out more, and stay accountable to their goals.  Without realizing it, they had succeeded one of the most successful peer communities in North America, and hadn’t paid anyone a dime.  What would happen if Team Beachbody started compensating customers for what they were already doing for free?  In 2007, Carl and John decided to find out.

$400 million in annual sales later, the answer is, it worked out pretty good.  Team Beachbody currently stands at more than 40,000 active coaches, and that number is growing daily.  Coaches are named that, not because of a particular certification, or depth and breadth of knowledge in the fitness industry.  They’re called coaches because their main function is to encourage others, both coaches and customers, to achieve their absolute best.

How Do I Join the Team Beachbody Scam, LOL?

Before you make the decision to become a beachbody coach, I think there are a few questions you can ask, and should ask to make sure that this business opportunity is right for you.  You also want to make sure the person you decide to get into business with can provide you with the answers to these questions.  Just like a job interview, it’s important that both parties be a fit for each other, not just one way or the other.
